We have always found it hard to board our own dogs.  We never liked the thought of leaving them in a kennel-type situation where they would not have any activity or human contact.  A few years back we decided to open a “Doggie Resort” that would be good enough for our 4-legged family. 

The kennel is in a converted barn about 50 feet from our home.  We only have room for eleven families.  While your dog is a guest at hanna’s bed and biscuit, they are treated like they are our own! 

First and foremost, all of the dogs are well exercised!  Everyone goes out to play at least four times per day (for about 30 minutes).  We like to have the “doggie-park” atmosphere, where all of the social dogs can play, run, swim, etc.  If your dog doesn’t like to have any friends, then he/she is taken out separately for leisure walks, swimming, playing ball, etc.  

We offer big, spacious, and comfortable suites.  Most of the suites have a doggie door opening into their own fenced in area.  Your dog can come and go as he pleases all day long!    We offer second-hand furniture, dog beds, blankets, etc. to make them as comfy as possible!  Country Music is also playing throughout the kennel 24/7.   

Your dog is encouraged to pack their bags with their favorite things.  They can bring their own “washable” bedding, toys, chew treats, etc.  Please note that we try to return everything that they came with!!!  Also, we require that your dog bring their own food!  Changing diets can cause upset tummies!  

Baths are offered at a discounted rate.  Please let us know whether or not you would like your dog to have one before his/her stay.  Baths are highly recommended for dogs that swim, play hard with other dogs, and/or are here for long periods of time.  Baths include ear cleaning and a nail trim.

We have a Veterinarian on call 24/7 incase of emergency. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR RESERVING A SUITE:

1. Rabies Vaccine
2. Kennel Cough/Bordetella Vaccine (every 6 months)
3. Heartworm Preventative (monthly)
4. Flea/Tick Preventative (monthly)
5. State/County license required (PA residents only)

**Copies of all the above are required before your dog’s vacation.
